He says, “40 years into this, it’s still as much fun as it’s ever been to play music. At the end of the day, what I get excited about is doing something I haven’t done before. When I record a song, I feel successful if I’ve accomplished something new.”
The album's first single, "Take Me Down," features Little Big Town. Cam also makes a guest appearance on the record.

Willie Nelson has come clean about the reason he needed to cancel tour dates in October.
He tells the Washington Post that he had stem cell surgery to help his lungs. "Over the years I’ve smoked a lot of cigarettes, and I’ve had emphysema and pneumonia four or five times, so my lungs were really screwed up, and I had heard that this stem-cell operation would be good for them." He won't know if the surgery has been a complete success until some of the soreness heals.
Last night, Willie received the Gershwin Prize in Washington, D.C., and tomorrow he has a show booked in Columbia, South Carolina.

Joey and Rory are still hoping that Joey's condition will improve.
The family tells People, "Joey and Rory still have hope for a miracle, but realize one has already happened through the outpouring of love and prayers for them during this journey. They are cherishing every moment spent together and have found peace through the path God is leading them down."
After a prayer vigil a couple of weeks ago, Joey's condition took a turn for the worse. She is now in hospice care at her childhood home in Alexandria, Indiana.
In October, it was determined that her cancer wasn't responding to treatment.
Fans around the world have been downloading their song "To Say Goodbye" as a tribute to the duo.
