A Florida crook had some really bad "cluck" when he helped himself to the homeowners' stash of fried chicken and beer -- and then passed out at the scene of the crime.

Jacob Miller was fast asleep on a couch when the victims opened their front door, saw him and called 911. Cops were on the scene within moments to wake the 22-year-old, who had ransacked the place, leaving chicken bones and empty beer bottles on the floor, along with jewelry and electronics that he hadn't had time to properly pack up.

Miller told the responding officers that he broke into the house because he needed a place to stay, but declined to comment on why he'd gone through the family's belongings. He's being held on charges of burglary and theft.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is speaking out about the Hulk Hogan racism scandal that's gotten the legendary wrestler tossed from the WWE.

Johnson says he was disappointed to hear Hogan make racist remarks and can't defend what he said, but insists that he's known him for years and he is not a racist. Speaking at a Television Critics Association panel, Johnson says, "I've known Terry for years. My dad helped train him in Florida in the 1970s, and even my uncle. I didn't know him to be a racist. Not justifying what he said but we've all talked trash, especially in private, and he's paid the price."

Actress Drea de Matteo and Whitesnake bassist Michael Devin have gotten engaged in what was a very rock 'n' roll proposal.

During the band's recent concert in Atlantic City, Devin got on the mic and called for Drea to come out on stage saying, "I fell in love with a very beautiful woman a few years ago, and I want to embarrass her as much as I can." She walked out with her two young kids and Devin asked, "I've been in love with you since the day I met you and I will for the rest of my life, and I hope that you'll marry me."

Before Drea could answer he interrupted and said, "Wait, I have two questions for you: One, will you make sweet passionate love to me for the rest of my life? And two, will you marry me please?" She answered yes to both. A video of the proposal, which contains a lot of NSFW language, can be seen on YouTube.

Every celebrity is plagued by Twitter trolls, but James Woods for one is doing something about it.

The actor is suing a man for trashing him online. Woods says the person, who goes by the name Abe List, has called him a "joke," "scum," "clown-boy" and, worst of all, a "cocaine addict." The complaint claims he "stepped over the line" with that allegation, and that Wood "is not now, nor has ever been, a cocaine addict, and A.L. had no reason to believe otherwise."

The suit adds that the person's "reckless and malicious behavior, through the worldwide reach of the Internet, has now jeopardized Woods' good name and reputation on an international scale."

Woods is seeking damages to the tune of $10 million.

Sylvester Stallone is planning to auction off some of his most prized movie memorabilia including items from Rocky and Rambo.

The actor says he will part ways with hundreds of items that span his 40-year career, including his boxing gloves, trunks and a robe from the Rocky movies. Also, a knife and an Army jacket he wore as Rambo. He says he wants to auction off the items now while he's still alive so that he can see other people enjoy them. A portion of the proceeds from the auction, which will take place in October, will benefit various military charities.

Valerie Harper has been released from a York, Maine hospital, according to several reports. She was admitted after passing out backstage on Wednesday night.

The actress famed for playing Rhoda Morgenstern on two television shows has been appearing in a summer production of the musical Nice Work If You Can Get It with fellow sitcom vet Sally Struthers.

The hospital did not provide any further details. And there's no word on when Harper might return to the show, which is scheduled to run through August 15th.

Police in Florida have arrested a man who literally sucks at robbing banks.

Cops say 30-year-old Jonathan Boston walked into a bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. He might have gotten away without the surveillance camera getting a clear image of him, but he took a couple of extra seconds to grab a free lollipop off the counter before he fled. This enabled the camera to get a good look at him. (Do you think that's why the put the candy there?)

Police were able to identify him and make an arrest in quick order. Boston is also accused of robbing two other banks.

The stolen money was recovered. He was allowed to keep the lollipop.

An Alabama man is behind bars after his really poor performance as a fake police officer.

43-year-old David Combs has been impersonating a cop for years and has been arrested in the past for it. Last week, a real cop spotted Combs driving his white Chevy Tahoe with a flashing blue light in the windshield. The officer thought it looked odd and then knew something was really off when he saw the vehicle had handicapped plates. So the officer pulled him over.

Combs was wearing a black "Police" T-shirt and carrying two guns and handcuffs. He told the real officer that he was a constable from a neighboring county and was responding to a car accident. When the real cop checked it out, he learned that neither story was true and arrested Combs for impersonating a police officer.

Tom Cruise says he would be interested in making a sequel to Top Gun on one condition. The movie would have to be practical and REAL. No CGI aircraft. " I want to shoot it like how we shot the first one". Tom is all in on the project if they can find a way for the department of defense to sign off on the use of REAL fighter jets. So what do you think, should they film another Top Gun or just leave it where it ended in 1986?

Mobile security firm Zimperium has uncovered a new vulnerability in Android devices. The vulnerability dubbed "Stagefright" affects the multimedia messaging system of over 950 million android devices worldwide. Google has released a patch to manufacturers but most have not yet passed the update to customers.Zimperium hasn't released all the details of the attack, pending a more detailed presentation at the Black Hat conference next month, but it appears to target how Android processes video, specifically in the phone's MMS messaging capability. Attackers could exploit that vulnerability sending out malicious code disguised as a video message. Once the exploit takes hold, an attacker would gain the power to execute code remotely, compromising the phone's microphone, cameras, or any number of other core functions. In the most vulnerable cases, a user would not even have to interact with the message in order for the code to execute.Google seems to have had little difficulty in coding a patch for the vulnerability, but deploying that patch may prove very difficult, given the widespread fragmentation in the Android ecosystem. With only 12 percent of devices running the latest version of Android, many carriers simply aren't deploying updates for Android phones on their network, creating long-standing patch deployment problems. Typically, those have been solved with application-level updates, but a function as fundamental as MMS may prove more challenging for Android's security team.

It's not likely that you'll ever hear a duet between Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany, who was once a contestant on American Idol.

He says, "She’s a great singer and would probably do fairly well. She had a little taste of all of that stuff. She can sing in the car and in the shower and here in the house, but I don’t know if she cares to pursue it as a career."

Jason will perform at Target Field in Minneapolis this weekend with Kenny Chesney.

A Norfolk, Virginia woman who thought she was corresponding with Keith Urban on Facebook is the victim of a scam.

When the fake Keith asked her to take custody of a briefcase that would be delivered to her house, but needed her to send him $800 first, she got suspicious. Threatening texts -- claiming that if she didn't deliver the money, she and her family would be in danger -- began to pour in. That's when she called the police and got a local TV station involved.

The TV station called Keith's management, who is working with the police to track down the phony..

Thomas Rhett is cracking us up on Instagram with a picture showing him hauling a massive orange plastic kiddy pool across a hot WalMart parking lot. No -- the “Crash and Burn” singer isn’t throwing a parking lot pool party. The picture caption reads, “@laur_akins made me get this for our dogs.”

Thomas is also looking fly on Instagram with the rest of the groomsmen at the Tyler Hubbard-Hayley Stommel wedding. Another shot shows Thomas before the event enjoying a Peroni with the groom, Canaan Smith, Brian Kelley and the rest of the party.

We’re pretty sure working in an office with Brett Eldredge would be a total blast. Water cooler conversation would be all about his adventures swimming with sharks, jumping out of an airplane and catching big fish on the weekends. Plus he’s great with a stapler, which is among the odd instruments used on his upcoming album, Illinois.

He tells Rolling Stone, “A lot of the guitar parts are what I just sing to [my producer] Ross Copperman, and Ross knows exactly what I want. I’ll even beat-box to him or I’ll pick up a stapler from his desk and jokingly make percussion, and he’ll record the stapler. Luckily Ross doesn’t think I’m crazy.”

A Florida man proved he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer by flagging cops down to say he didn't have anything to do with a knifepoint robbery they were investigating -- as he was holding the victim's stuff.

The victim, whose name was not released, called 911 to report that he was awakened by a man in a red hat standing in his bedroom armed with a knife. The intruder snatched up three cellphones and other small items, then fled the scene, but he didn't get far.

When cops arrived on the scene moments later, Anthony Smith, who was wearing a red hat, flagged down their patrol car and informed them he was not guilty of the robbery that had just taken place. That was a surprising claim, since he was holding the phones that had been swiped from the residence.

He's being held on $10,000 bail.

Johnny Depp's wife, actress Amber Heard, has been formally charged with illegally bringing the couple's two dogs into Australia and ignoring the country's strict quarantine laws.

Australian authorities have charged her with two counts of illegal importation and one count of producing a false document after she flew their two Yorkshire terriers into the country on a private jet. The charges could carry penalties of a $100,000 fine and up to 10 years in jail. Heard will have to appear in court on September 7th.
Her comments a few weeks back on a Australian TV show about not wanting to visit Australia ever again probably didn't sit well with government officials.

Guess which man made the cover of Vanity Fair, was praised for his courage by President Obama and is to be honored with the ‘Arthur Ashe Courage Award’ by ESPN?”

The best part of the ESPY awards last night was when Ronda Rousey beat out Floyd Mayweather for the Best Fighter award and during her acceptance speech she said " I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once. I'd like to see you pretend to not know who I am now".. Ouch.

Luke Bryan picked up the phone and called the son of an "outlaw" legend to apologize for the remarks he made in an interview with Hits Daily Double.

Ben Haggard, son of Merle Haggard, posted on Twitter, "Got a call from Nashville yesterday, picked up the phone and it was Luke Bryan. He called to personally apologize to me and the Haggard family for his comments in a recent interview. I have never spoken to Luke in my life, but one thing was for sure, the sincerity in his voice. Let's all remember (including myself) that we're all humans, we make mistakes and say things we wish we hadn't."

Luke made what seemed to be disparaging remarks about outlaw country artists such as Merle, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Luke has said the remark was misinterpreted and he was just stating what his music was all about.

No one expected "Royals" at a Taylor Swift concert in our nation's capital -- but there it was.

Lorde made the 19-hour flight from Auckland to Washington D.C. to join her gal pal onstage last night (Monday) at Nationals Park, where the two hooked up on the New Zealander's Grammy-winning song.

Afterward, they both took to Instagram. Taylor wrote, "When your friend flies across the world to surprise your crowd with 'Royals' because she's a wondrous angel." And Lorde captioned a photo of the two, "Looking over at my girl like, 'Can u believe this is the kind of fun stuff we get to do for a living?' THANKS TAY AND D.C. GETTING TO SING FOR U TONIGHT RULED."

Lorde also wrote on Twitter, "I’m gonna talk more about the show when I see it in full tomorrow. Be prepared for live tweeting and/or a long reference-heavy Tumblr post, but seriously, @taylorswift13 is the leader of a great and beautiful galaxy that I’d live in forever.”

There was one slight mishap in Taylor's galaxy during the show, though. A mechanical malfunction left her stuck up on a platform with no way down. She toughed it out, however, telling the crowd, "In the meantime, I’m gonna sing a song for you called 'Clean' and I hope you’ll sing along.”
