An Alabama man is behind bars after his really poor performance as a fake police officer.
43-year-old David Combs has been impersonating a cop for years and has been arrested in the past for it. Last week, a real cop spotted Combs driving his white Chevy Tahoe with a flashing blue light in the windshield. The officer thought it looked odd and then knew something was really off when he saw the vehicle had handicapped plates. So the officer pulled him over.
Combs was wearing a black "Police" T-shirt and carrying two guns and handcuffs. He told the real officer that he was a constable from a neighboring county and was responding to a car accident. When the real cop checked it out, he learned that neither story was true and arrested Combs for impersonating a police officer.
