Last night the kick off show for the Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard's Django and Jimmie Tour in Florence, South Carolina was postponed due to illness.
Willie is down with an undisclosed ailment and has also cancelled performances tonight in Roanoke, Virginia, and Saturday in Reading, Pennsylvania.
The South Carolina show will take place next year, but the Roanoke performance has been pushed to Monday. The Reading tour stop has been axed completely. Willie is expected to be fine for Sunday's show at the American Roots Music and Arts Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina -- a date that isn't part of the Django and Jimmie Tour.

Dolly Parton is shooting down recent rumors that she's battling stomach cancer, but has revealed that she did have to have a medical procedure.
Dolly insists, "There is absolutely no truth at all that I have stomach cancer. I love and appreciate everyone’s concern.” That's great news, of course, but Dolly did have to undergo an operation three weeks ago to remove kidney stones. She adds that she is now fine and is back working on her NBC movie Coat of Many Colors.

Carrie Underwood’s secret to dropping the 30 pounds she gained over her pregnancy takes just 30 minutes. It’s her favorite workout at the moment -- Tabata. She tells Shape, “I’m in love with it! It’s hard, but it really works. I choose seven different exercises, like squats, lunges, or push-ups, and do eight rounds of each -- 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for eight rounds. It really revs up my metabolism. When I’m done, I can handle anything."
Carrie is the new cover of Shape’s November issue, which hits newsstands on October 20th.

Taylor Swift has made a habit of writing songs about people who've done her wrong, but she's broken the habit of making it obvious who she's talking about.
Though a lot of people think they know exactly who Tay is dissing in "Bad Blood," she still won't come out and name check that former pal with the initials "K.P." Taylor tells GQ, "You’re in a Rolling Stone interview, and the writer says, 'Who is that song about? That sounds like a really intense moment from your life.' And you sit there, and you know you’re on good terms with your ex-boyfriend, and you don’t want him -- or his family -- to think you’re firing shots at him. So you say, 'That was about losing a friend.' And that’s basically all you say. But then people cryptically tweet about what you meant."
But Taylor admits that she knew the conclusion people would reach. "I never said anything that would point a finger in the specific direction of one specific person, and I can sleep at night knowing that. I knew the song would be assigned to a person, and the easiest mark was someone who I didn’t want to be labeled with this song. So I don’t necessarily care who people think it’s about. I just needed to divert them away from the easiest target."

Don Henley brings the first leg of his Cass County tour to a close Sunday night in Nashville, where he wrote and recorded most of the album.
The show is at the legendary Ryman Auditorium, where on September 16th he accepted a Lifetime Achievement Trailblazer Award from the Americana Music Association and performed one song. He tells the Tennessean, "I could feel the history, the spirits in that building. It’s fascinating how a structure just made of wood, glass, metal, etc., can somehow absorb and retain the essence, the presence of the things that have taken place inside it... We want to honor that history by giving a good performance, and the acoustics in that old building are tricky because of the design of the interior. As everybody knows, the Ryman was originally built as a church; it wasn’t really meant for amplified music. So, we have to make sure we don’t play too loud."
Cass County features many guest artists, including such country acts as Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Vince Gilland Merle Haggard, and Henley says he thinks "several of them will be in attendance, so that will add a little extra pressure, as well. But, all things considered, we are looking forward to playing the new material in the town where most of it was recorded and some of it written.”
Before Nashville, Henley has a show in Atlanta on Saturday. And after Nashville, he's off until November 2nd in New York.
