A 48-year-old man from Conyers, Georgia was cited for DUI inside a Kroger's supermarket, after he was observed driving his motorized wheelchair erratically. According to the Associated Press, Danny W. Mitchell was "pulled over" inside the grocery store on Friday after the "disheveled" man drove into the store backward, and knocked over plants with the device.
Officers arrived on scene and administered a breathalyzer test.
While the results weren't made public, the police say Mitchell copped to having taken Valium as well as an anti-depressant, and had consumed a pint of alcohol.

Cops in San Bernardino, California have arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of stolen property after they allegedly tried to sell a stolen English bulldog back to its owners.
The Press-Enterprise reports 21-year-old Jamill Slaughter and 19-year-old Carla Martinez were busted Monday, after they allegedly set up a Craigslist sale of Gunny, who was stolen during a strong-arm robbery in San Bernardino two days prior.
Friends of Gunny's owners alerted them that the pooch had popped up in a Craigslist ad, and the unidentified owners called the cops and set up a sting.
With deputies watching, and the owners posing as potential buyers, Martinez and Slaughter allegedly brought the dog to a pre-arranged meeting place to make an exchange for $2,500.
The owners immediately ID'd the dog as theirs, and when the suspects drove away with Gunny, deputies moved in, stopped the suspects' car, and arrested them before returning Gunny to his rightful owners.
It's not yet known if the suspects will be charged with actually stealing the dog, the newspaper notes.

A 45-year-old New Jersey man is facing more than a year in jail for allegedly taking a summons a cop wrote for him and sticking it, to quote the legal brief, "between his butt cheeks."
According to the website MyCentralNewJersey, back in June, Joseph Greenwood had been released on a municipal court charge of threatening to assault somebody when a police officer issued him a summons.
In response, Greenwood reportedly tucked the ticket, proceeded to mime "wiping" with it, then tossed it at the cop. He was indicted on charges of throwing bodily fluids. The fourth-degree crime carries a maximum penalty of 18 months behind bars.
Incidentally, Greenwood was subsequently charged with disorderly conduct and making threats to kill another person.
