Police officers in Massachusetts were finally able to capture an escaped goat that was on the lam after it broke free from its enclosure.
The goat got loose Monday night and hoofed it through the streets as cops tried to catch wrangle him. Finally, the pursuit came to an end very peacefully -- when the goat turned himself in to police. He actually spotted the squad car, walked up to it and started licking the driver's side window. Perhaps there were some doughnut crumbs on the window, because the goat seemed to really like it, and while he was enjoying a good lick, cops were able to contact his owner, who arrived at the scene to claim him and bring him home.

A London woman who purchased a glass table on eBay knew there was something fishy about the package when it arrived at her house.
Somehow eBay got Becky Smith's order wrong and shipped her a box containing 40 bags of live goldfish, instead of the piece of furniture she was expecting. She says, "I answered the door they dropped it off. I took it in my house opened it, and there was 40 bags of tropical fish. I was so shocked. I was going to keep them if I had to. But I don't really like them, to be honest. But my daughter does and she wanted them."

A New York man decided to wing it when he didn't like the price of the fried chicken dinner he'd ordered -- so he offered a lower amount, then pulled a gun and ran off without paying a cent.
The famished felon walked into a Chinese carryout joint, where he's a regular customer, and asked for a chicken wing and fried rice combo, which was listed on the menu at $6.50. But when it came time to pay for the chow, he said five bucks was the best he could do -- an offer the cashier on duty declined.
After a brief argument, the cranky customer agreed to fork over the extra dollar-fifty, but continued to shout obscenities at the workers. At that point they decided to simply give him the food for free. The man, who is still at large, grabbed his dinner, and in an effort to prove a point, pulled out a gun to warn the restaurant employees not to get him steamed again.
