Cops just threw the book at a Florida man for robbing his parents of thousands of dollars -- and a copy of the Good Book!
Leo Uhl, who lives with his elderly mom and dad, is facing felony charges after walking out of their home carrying a safe stocked with more than $27,000 in cash as well as the deed to their home -- and snatching up the family Bible on his way out the door. The 45-year-old loser allegedly had the safe under his arm and was going out of the house when his brother spotted him and said to stop or he would have him arrested.
Uhl kept going and drove to another neighborhood, where he pried open the safe and left it on the sidewalk while making off with the dough. He was arrested a short time later and remains jailed on grand theft charges.

Cassandra Lewis made the call complaining of a medical emergency and saying she needed to be taken to the hospital, but when the paramedics loaded her in and transported her the 12 miles to the nearest facility, she signed herself out and walked over to her guy's place for a booty call. Security followed her to the man's apartment and called police to report the incident, which earned her one charge of falsely reporting an emergency.
A good defense attorney will claim she needed treatment for a case of burning love.

A Brazilian police officer named Fabio Losi has made a lot of traffic stops over the years, but none this bizarre -- or chilling.
Just when he thought he'd seen it all, he was shocked when he spotted a Volkswagen Beetle driving around with an old rusty refrigerator sitting on the front end of the car, blocking most of the windshield. The 42-year-old man behind the wheel told the officer he didn't have a driver's license but it was OK because he's been driving since he was six years old. But that's not all. The car didn't have license plates or a gas pedal.
The driver was fined for not having a license, and more fines and charges are pending.
