Jared Fogle, the former spokesman for the Subway restaurant chain, plead guilty today to possession of child pornography charges and charges of paying for sex acts with 14 young girls who were under the age of 18. The U.S. Attorney’s office will discuss the charges and deal during a press conference, sources said. The deal is said to include jail sentence between 5 and 12.5 years.
In July, federal agents raided his home in Zionsville, Indiana, with FBI sources saying they served warrants in connection with a child pornography investigation. Several DVDs and computers were seized from the house.
The former director of Fogle’s Jared Foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested earlier this year, accused of possessing and producing child pornography. Investigators said they found more than 500 images of child pornography inside Taylor’s home. Fogle’s attorney, Ron Elberger, had no comment on the plea deal. Subway suspended Fogle soon after the raid on his home.
Also today, Jared's wife Katie filed for divorce from Jared saying, "I am in the process of seeking a dissolution of the marriage. My focus is exclusively on the well-being of my children. Neither I nor my family will have any further comment on the matter."

Hours after it was publicly revealed that Rosie O’Donnell’s 17-year-old daughter had been missing for a week, she was found by police safe in a New Jersey home yesterday. Chelsea O’Donnell had left the family’s home a week earlier with a therapy dog, and her mother’s concern was intensified because she had not been taking needed medication. Chelsea suffers from mental illness, according to her mother’s spokeswoman, Cindi Berger. Rosie O’Donnell lives in South Nyack, New York, and police there had been involved in searching for her daughter since Sunday. They informed authorities in Barneget, New Jersey, yesterday that they believed Chelsea was there. Police went to the residence and although the person answering the door initially did not want to reveal Chelsea’s presence, police said they would not be leaving until she came out. She then appeared and left with police without incident. O’Donnell said that though the family had not seen her since last Tuesday, they had been in contact with her.
