A Star Wars fan with terminal cancer got his final wish. After a campaign began to get Daniel Fleetwood an early screening of the The Force Awakens, J.J. Abrams and Disney made it happen.
TMZ says studio executives showed up at the 32-year-old man's Texas home Wednesday and let him see an unedited version. Daniel's wife, Ashley, says he loved the movie, though she can't talk about it because they signed a confidentiality agreement. Disney also played the movie on its own equipment.
Director J.J. Abrams called Daniel before the screening. Ashley tells TMZ that "really made Daniel's day."
Daniel has inoperable spindle cell sarcoma, and doctors told he has only two months to live. The movie opens December 18th.

Jon Stewart is returning to TV -- sort of.
Just a little more than two months after leaving The Daily Show, he's signed a four-year production deal with HBO. Jon will create short-form digital content under the deal, which also gives the network a first-look option for other film and TV ventures.
In a press release, HBO says Jon will "view current events through his unique prism" in his first project for HBO and work with a cloud graphics company to "develop new technology that will allow him to produce timely short-form digital content, which will be refreshed on HBO NOW multiple times throughout the day."
Jon says, “Appearing on television 22 minutes a night clearly broke me. I’m pretty sure I can produce a few minutes of content every now and again.”
