Kacey Musgraves is designing her own line of boots -- but don't expect them to be your ordinary cowboy boots.
She tells the Tennessean, “I think it’s going to be all white and a short boot like I wear, but have lights scattered all over. We’re trying to get the electronic part figured out right now. It’s kind of complicated, and I don’t want them to be unaffordable. But you gotta make them work, too.”
Kacey wears boots with an arrow and a Mexican blanket design with a heel. She says she's enjoying using her creativity for something other than music.
No word on when the boots, which she's working on with Lucchese, will be available.

Luke Bryan's comments in an interview with Hits Daily Double regarding outlaw country continue to backfire on him.
In the article Luke said, "I’m not going to sing outlaw country. I like to hunt, fish, ride around on my farm, build a big bonfire and drink some beers -- and that’s what I sing about. It’s what I know. I don’t know about laying in the gutter, strung out on drugs. I don’t really want to do that."
Waylon Jennings daugher-in-law, Kathy Pinkerman Jennings, tells Luke just what she thought of his comments in a Facebook post.
She writes, "I hope your family members are proud of you for using your WORLDWIDE platform to take the time to disrespect my father-in-law. You have managed to PROVE to the world your true self.
"Albeit that Waylon's drug use is well documented and something he overcame, I assure you, he was never 'laying in a gutter.' At the peak of his career and drug abuse, he was making history and setting records. He, single handedly paved the way for you and everyone else to make music the way the artist wanted to make it. I'm not willing to waste my time to debate your 'music' and / or the fact you have zillions of fans -- I will however, not sit back and be quiet when you have so blatantly disrespected Waylon.
"I recall the time I was at the Grand Ole Opry to visit with Andy Griggs, you were making your debut appearance. My friend that was with us had just seen your video. As we stood at the side of the stage, Jeannie Seeley was talking to us and you walked over to introduce yourself to her and told her how much you admired her, she in turn introduced you to myself and my husband. I almost got a cavity because of the sweetness of the words coming out of your mouth -- you told us Waylon was one of your musical heroes. You went on and on and on.
This is not about music, Outlaw Country, whatever - it's about DISRESPECT.
"You are a platinum, disrespecting, no singing, whining, grasping for media attention, a--hole. Use your platform for something good, instead of bashing the LEGENDS that came before you."
Luke attempted some damage control over the weekend on Twitter. "I consider Willie, Waylon and Merle musical heroes. I was trying to state what I was about and where I come from with my music. It’s simple as that."

Dan and Shay’s new “Nothin’ Like You” music video has gone to the dogs, and it’s super cute! The piece starts at a diner the morning after a crazy night at the ACM Awards. A Doberman Pinscher is seated at the table, and no one knows how he got there. Next, the pooch sees a cute yellow lab outside and takes off running, sending Dan and Shay on a high-speed chase to a muddin’ party with a bunch of puppy friends!
At the end, Dan wakes Shay up and it was all a dream. Shay tells People, “Getting to hang out with dogs all day could hardly be considered work. Although I think I burned about three million calories by chasing after them.”

Eli Young Band and Andy Grammer rework Andy's big pop hit, "Honey, I'm Good," for country fans.
The group's lead singer, Mike Eli says, "We fell in love with it before Andy ever asked us to be part of this release. Andy is an incredible singer and one heck of a songwriter so we couldn't be happier to help expand upon what he's already accomplished. We can't wait for everyone to hear the new version."
Andy says the song always had a country vibe to him and that the version was like "coming home."
