Carrie Underwood revealed the cover of her new album, Storyteller to Entertainment Weekly.
The record is her first studio album in three years. She says, “I’ve been listening to some of these songs for two years, and to still be excited about them is great, but then it’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, is everybody else going to like it?’ I’m more nervous now that I’ve taken time.”
Carrie dropped "Smoke Break," the first single from the album, last week.
Storyteller is set to be released on October 23rd.
Last night in L.A., Taylor Swift continued her tradition of bringing local guests on stage -- but in Tinseltown, she had many to choose from.
First, T welcomed former Dixie Chick Natalie Maines to the Staples Center stage to sing "Goodbye Earl." She said, "I can safely and honestly say I would not be a musician if it had not been for this artist. I would not have wanted to be a country artist. I wouldn’t have dreamed the things that I dreamed and I wouldn’t be standing on this stage today."
Later on, she brought out Alanis Morrissette to duet on Alanis's 1995 classic "You Oughta Know," saying she "defined the music of her decade."
Taylor also programmed in some comedic relief in the form of Ellen Degeneres, who parodied all her costume changes.
