Kenny Rogers says he wants to spend more time with his family, and that's why his next tour will be his last.
The 77-year-old music legend made the announcement on the Today show this morning (Friday), saying, "I'm going to do a big worldwide tour and it's going to be my last. I've done this long enough... I really want to be there with my kids and my wife. They are very important to me, and I don't see enough of them." Kenny says he also wants to spend time crossing some things off his bucket list.
Details of his farewell tour have not yet been announced, but he did reveal that his final concert will be a performance on the Today show. Kenny admits, "I'm sure I will miss it, but, you know, I swore that I would do this until I embarrassed myself, and I'm getting to where I don't walk around well, and so I've found some new humor. I guess that's a good thing. My mobility is really driving me crazy."

Florida Georgia Line will play the pre-race show at the Daytona 500 on February 21st.
The gig is a homecoming for Brian Kelley, who grew up just up the road in Ormond Beach and went to high school and college in Daytona.
He says, "It's a dream come true to play in the city where I was born, went to high school in and now have the honor of being a part of one of my family’s favorite sporting events, the Daytona 500. Performing at the 500 feels full circle to me as I grew up working the 500 as a fundraiser for our baseball team and was in awe then and still am."
This weekend, their Anything Goes Tour hits Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
