Congratulations are in order today for several of our country stars... First Toby Keith and Bobby Braddock are on their way to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Toby has earned his way for writing most of his hits, while Bobby has written for the likes of Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, Billy Currington, Tracy Lawrence, George Jones and many others. Most notably, he penned "He Stopped Loving Her Today," which is considered by many to be the best country song of all time. Also on the list of inductees are Willie Dixon, Robert Hunter and Jerry Garcia, Cyndi Lauper and Linda Perry. The ceremony will take place in New York City on June 18th. |

First it was the girls in the "little white tank top" costume that showed up to every Dierks Bentley show, and now it's pilot hats and aviators.. Costumes just never get old with Dierks. Dierks Bentley says the first flight attendants he saw at one of his concerts was in Colorado. “I guess, Red Rocks Colorado? Looking out and seeing girls dressed up in the hat and aviator shades. I pulled them up onstage and we ended up performing the song together and that started a thing. And now every night, some nights it gets too ambitious and there’s like 20 people doing it and I’m trying to get them all up there and it gets to be a logistical nightmare.” (photo credit - Getty Images) |
