A Florida man who called 911 to report losing his possessions also lost his freedom -- after cops responding to the call found a huge stash of drugs that the intruders somehow left behind.
Deputies arrived at Andres A. Barrios’ apartment and described finding signs of forced entry, just as Barrios had described, but almost as soon as they walked in, they stumbled upon two pounds of weed, two guns, a slew of prescription pills...and more than $82,373 in cash. The officers quickly got a warrant to search the man's car, and found a box with 20 more pounds of pot, which he said he obtained "street side."
The moral of the story? If you see something...sometimes it's better not to say anything.
