A Florida man is sitting in jail after he somehow walked into a hospital's operating room and stole a surgical table. Fortunately, there was no patient on it.
Cops say 52-year-old Lance Sayre was able to walk into the OR and wheel out a $48,000 operating bed. He rolled the bed all the way through the hall and to the loading dock, where he transferred it to the back of his van and drove away. Luckily, surveillance cameras inside the hospital captured the heist and eventually led police to their man six days later.
They arrested Sayre and charged him with burglary and grand theft. There's no word as to whether police have recovered the stolen table.
