Driving drunk is always irresponsible, but this takes the cake. A Minnesota mom allegedly pulled away from her home with her eight-year-old daughter clinging to the outside of her car.
46-year-old Rena Giancherio was seen pulling out of her driveway and down the street in Farmington, Minnesota with the child hanging onto a door handle and standing on a running board. An eyewitness says the daughter was pleading with her mother not to drive and trying to get into the car, but Giancherio locked the doors and started rolling away. The eight-year-old soon jumped off, suffering scrapes and bruises, but no major injuries.
Police soon caught up with Giancherio, who unsurprisingly blew a .30 in a blood-alcohol test -- nearly four times the legal limit. Cops say she was actually driving to a store to buy more liquor. She's been charged with two counts of criminal vehicular operation, child endangerment and third-degree DWI.
