The Garth Brooks Ireland debacle of last summer has been turned into a play.

The show, Are You There Garth? It's Me, Margaret is told through the eyes of a super-fan during the summer of what some Dubliners call Garthgate. Garth cancelled his five sold-out shows in Dublin when city officials would grant permission for just three of the shows -- after all the tickets had already been sold.

The Garth play opens at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre this year.

Tim McGraw will put in a performance of a lifetime on Sunday when he steps in for the ailing Glen Campbell to sing "I'm Not Gonna Miss You" on the Academy Awards.

The song, which is up for an Oscar for Best Original Song, is from Glen's documentary I'll Be Me. The film chronicles his final year of touring and his battle with Alzheimer's.

It's becoming something of a family tradition -- Faith Hill was a last-minute fill-in for Whitney Houston at the Academy Awards in 2000.

Brad Paisley has teamed up with Guinness USA to design a series of T-shirts to benefit the Leary Firefighters Foundation.

The goal is to raise $1 million by St. Patrick's Day to help those who put their lives on the line to save others. Brad says, “My father was a volunteer firefighter and showed me at an early age the sacrifices made every day by firefighters and how important what they do is to their communities."

The shirts will be sold in some bars and are available online at GuinnessGivesBack.com.

As Jason Aldean looks ahead to marrying Brittany Kerr, he finally feels that he can put the past behind him and be comfortable with their relationship.

He tells the Tennessean, "Honestly, it feels a lot better than it ever has. I think that people see [us as] something real and legitimate. It wasn't some random crazy thing. It feels different than it ever has now, and it allows us to actually enjoy it a little bit and not walk around with our helmets on. It's been cool lately."

Next week, Jason heads to Europe to open shows for Lady Antebellum, which is unusual for the stadium headliner. But he's taking it in stride, explaining, "This is the first time we've been over there and Lady Antebellum toured over there before, so people are more familiar with them than us."
