Christina Aguilera is headed for the TV show Nashville.
According to E! news, the pop diva won't have to stretch much to fit into the role -- she'll play pop superstar Jade St. John, who, after playing Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, stays in town to check out the music scene and apparently causes some havoc.
The multi-episode storyline is expected to air this spring. Nashville airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. [ET] on ABC.
