A Michigan man who drove to the police station to bail out his buddy is now hoping his pal could repay the favor -- after he wound up getting arrested himself. Police say 51-year-old Royal Norton walked into the station to bail out a friend who'd been arrested for drunk driving. As he pulled $300 dollars out of his pocket, a small baggie of cocaine came out with it. He didn't realize it and actually handed it over to police. The bail money was accepted and his friend was released. But Norton was ordered to stay put and was arrested for drug possession. |
