Johnny Depp's hand injury appears to be worse than previously thought and will further delay shooting of the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Depp suffered the mysterious hand injury three weeks ago in Australia where the movie is being filmed, but he did not hurt himself on the set. He was immediately put on a flight back to the States to undergo surgery and was expected to hold up filming for only a couple of weeks. But half of the 400-person crew has now been told not to come back to work until the middle of April. The film has about another 14 weeks of shooting left.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is expected to come out in 2017.

Robin Williams' widow and his children are ready to settle their dispute over the star's estate.
Susan Schneider Williams filed a petition in December, saying the comedian's three children are claiming memorabilia that was left to her and that some of Robin's property was taken from their San Francisco home without permission.
But now the two parties have agreed to settle the matter through private mediation.
Robin's will reportedly entitled his children Zachary, Zelda and Cody to his personal property from his home, as well as awards and memorabilia. Susan argues that the will entitles her to "knick-knacks and other items not associated with his famous persona."
Robin was found dead in his home last August after committing suicide.

Angelina Jolie is only three-years-old in a family photo that one of her uncles shared over the weekend to explain why the actress is so concerned about cancer.
The photo shows Angelina and 17 of her close relatives -- six of whom later died of cancer, including her mother Marcheline Bertrand at the age of 56. Others include her grandfather, a couple aunts, a cousin and an uncle -- all whom died young.
Angelina recently removed her ovaries in another move to avoid cancer. Her uncle Ron Martin, who shared the photo, says he did so to show how having the BRCA gene mutation can increase your chances of getting cancer. Martin was married to Angelina's aunt Debbie Martin who died of breast cancer two years ago. He says his niece has gone public with her preventative measures to raise awareness to the gene mutation. Martin says, "It’s affecting many more families than just ours. It just happens to be she’s probably the most famous person that has that gene. If you read some of those comments in her op-ed, you will see case after case that have the same exact situation as her.”

The Terrence Howard divorce saga continues.
According to TMZ, the Empire star is planning to end his ex-wife Michelle's spousal support because she allegedly blackmailed him with pictures, including one with him in the shower, and videos he fears would ruin his career.
A source tells the website that Terrence will make a formal legal claim in April. Howard and his lawyer claim that all Michelle was really entitled to was half-a-year's worth of spousal support, since the marriage lasted just a year. Michelle ended up getting five years' worth of support, which he says is evidence of blackmail.

Whoopi Goldberg, the co-host of The View, is sharing her views on the use of medical marijuana -- something she's become a big advocate for.
In a new interview with High Times magazine, the comedian and noted pot-user says she mostly smokes these days to help her glaucoma. She says, "I had just been smoking a long time before the glaucoma -- and for the fun of it." After she was diagnosed with the eye disorder, she says “What I did notice was that there were fewer headaches. Didn’t take me long to see there might be a correlation. Almost all my use nowadays is medical.”
Whoopi says she doesn't see any reason why kids who are battling medical problems shouldn't be able to benefit from the affects of medical marijuana. She argues, "What about the children? These parents are being treated like criminals -- because, as a last resort and after much research, they’ve decided that cannabis may help their kid. They know they may face jail time, but these are their kids, and they will do everything they can to bring peace to the convulsions or calm after the chemotherapy."
