Showing up drunk to a court appearance for a drunk driving case is no way to go through life.
44-year-old J.B. Silverthorn of Buffalo, New York had just been found guilty of a DWI charge when he got in his car and drove away drunk from the courthouse. Just moments earlier, he'd convicted of driving drunk for slamming his car into a river back in December. After the ruling, his attorney and even the judge smelled alcohol on his breath, and warned him not to drive home. He ignored them and got into his car anyway. But cops stopped him as he drove out of the parking lot and arrested him.
Silverthorn has been charged with felony DWI.
