A Russian man showed himself to be a sorry excuse for a burglar by breaking into a stranger's house -- and leaving a note of apology, along with a picture of himself.
The remorseful robber got away with a chainsaw, some small electronics and several cartons of cigarettes in the heist, but then thought twice about his actions and left a photograph with a note on the back. The note said, "I'm going to give myself up today. Please forgive me. I hate myself for this." It didn't take cops in the small Siberian town long to track down the 26-year-old, who already had multiple burglary convictions.
We've heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, but a thousand days in jail?
